This guide explains how to successfully use the CSMS API. The API is organized around REST. It has predictable resource-oriented URLs, accepts form-encoded request bodies, returns JSON-encoded responses, and uses standard HTTP response codes, authentication, and verbs.

You can use the CSMS API on the User Accessibility Tier (UAT) which will not affect your live data. The API key you use to authenticate the request, is unique for UAT and Production tiers.
